My face should be here :P

Welcome to my Week in Review

24/07/2025: Bought this phenomenal domain and got it hosted. My basic git and coding knowledge was actually quite useful here.

26/07/2025: Removed placeholder text, and working on turning it into more than just a few < p>'s (not sure how to write this out without creating a new paragraph :P ). Running through the w3schools html pages, expect one of each html feature coming soon! Mildly concerned with website security, as I do not know much currently. If someone desired, they could probably rewrite this entire website, I leave that to you as a challenge, but I will research before I release the website to the public and recieve billions of views. Can't wait to fill all the white space with ads. Just imagine, every click instantly opens a new tab. What an ideal!

11/08/2025: Oh! You've caught me at an awkward time; I'm sitting on a rock eating a burrito on campus. But, it is fair to say it is time to publish my website, irrespective of its completeness or my choice of seat. Ideally I would probably need many hours to make this and my instagram page look how I would like them too, yet I find myself always having something more important to do. It seems so curious how I can waste time sleeping in, but I wont let myself spend daily time on this hobby.

More importantly: What is my purpose? Or, to put it in context, what is my purpose in creating this website. I think this is a very important question to ask. As much as I could, and would like to, ramble about my thoughts, I believe it is necessary to keep my typing succinct. The idea of writng a regular Week in review has been in my mind for quite a few months now, and I imagine its structure and purpose as follows:

  1. Commentary on notable events and/or
  2. Commentary of my notable thoughts
  3. Regarding the week just passed
  4. Published at the end of each week
However, this list has some limitations, which I think is better to approach here and now, rather than make the structure and purpose of the Week in Review rather pedantic and formalistic. Regarding 1 and 2, I simply have events and thoughts that are not appropriate for public release. I don't think one can live in current society without having some respect for what they are saying. And, as I do not want to go on some Socratic pilgrimage, I can only publish what I would be happy with anyone having access to. Regarding 3, well, it seems I have already been unable to do this, as none of my posts so far have been about any week in particular. To fix this, I will group these posts simply as ramblings, different from my Week in Review. And finally, 4. Do I have to publish this weekly, and on what day? To answer this simply; I don't see any reason not to publish this weekly, and the day of publish should be the Monday following the week to be published. Ah, nice and squared away now.

Finally, do I really consider myself just so important as to have to update people on my life events? I would truly say to this: No. This is no blog, I am not after any traffic anymore than a sidewalk is. This is simply somewhere I can write things I want to, and share it with people who would like to read it. I do have a target audience of those who know me personally, but whether anyone even reads it or not, I am still satisfied in the purpose of this website as a place to create. Why publicly release it then? This is a question that I will approach another week (in an effort to follow the succinctness desired above).
